NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Chesterton Advisory Plan Commission gives notice that it will conduct a public hearing on March 18, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as its agenda will permit at the Chesterton Town Hall, 726 Broadway, Chesterton, Indiana, on the adoption of a new Comprehensive Plan replacing the Comprehensive Plan adopted on September 27, 2004. A copy of the proposed Comprehensive Plan is on file at the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office, Chesterton Town Hall, 726 Broadway, Chesterton, Indiana 46304, for inspection prior to the public hearing.

Written objections to the proposal that are filed with the Secretary of the Chesterton Advisory Plan Commission at the Chesterton Town Hall, 726 Broadway, Chesterton, Indiana, before the hearing will be considered. Oral comments concerning the proposed Comprehensive Plan will be heard at the public hearing and the public hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
