NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

Notice is hereby given that Duneland School Corporation, Board of School Trustees, Chesterton, IN shall receive sealed bids from experienced and eligible contractors at the Duneland School Corporation Administration Building located at 601 West Morgan Avenue, Chesterton, IN 46304, until 10:30 AM, local time, Tuesday, March 30, 2010 for:

Roofing and roof related work

Each bid proposal shall include labor and services necessary to complete the project in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications as prepared and on file in the office of CSA Architects, LLC, 6307 Suite B, Constitution Drive, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 (260) 433-1301. Bids shall be received from a single, qualified contractor.

Bids shall be opened and read aloud immediately after the 10:30 AM submission of proposals in the Administration Building located at 601 West Morgan Avenue, Chesterton, IN 46304.

Plans, specifications, bid forms and instructions to bidders are on file and available at CSA Architects, LLC for a deposit fee of $100.00 for each set. The fee will be refunded provided the specifications and plans are returned in good order within (10) days of the bid opening.

A mandatory Pre-bid Conference will be held at 10:30 AM, local time, on Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Duneland School Corporation Administration Building located at 601 West Morgan Avenue, Chesterton, IN 46304.

Bids shall be completely and properly executed on revised form 96 with Non-Collusion Affidavit signed and sealed as required by the statutes of the state of Indiana. Financial statements must also be provided with the bids (as stated in form 96). Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Bid for Roof Projects”. Bids received subsequent to the time and date established shall be returned unopened.

No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled bid due date.

Duneland School Corporation, Board of School Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
