NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING
PROPOSED VARIANCE
Notice is hereby
given that the Board of Zoning Appeals of the County of Porter, Indiana,
will hold a public hearing on the 17th of March, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. in the
Porter County Administration Center, 155 Indiana Avenue, Suite 205,
Valparaiso, Indiana, to consider the petition of James Cline & Paul Schulz,
3804 Hastings Ct., Valparaiso, seeking a Variance from the Unified
Development Ordinance for Section 2.12, RR District Development Standards,
Minimum Side Setback to allow reduction of the side setback for a house from
30 feet to 18 feet and for a detached garage from 15 feet to 10 feet, to be
located on the following described property:
Parcel in the
S1/2 of the NW1/4 of the SW1/4 of Section 1 Twp. 35 N., Range 6 West,
starting at a point on the West line of Section 1, Twp. 35N., Range 6 W.
142.5 feet South of the North line of the S1/2 of the NW1/4 of the SW1/4 of
said Section 1, running thence South on said West line of Section One 132.5
feet; thence East 264 feet to the SW corner of Lot 1 Campbell Oaks
Subdivision; thence North along the West line of Lot 1 Campbell Oaks
Subdivision 130.5 feet; thence West 264 feet more or less to the point of
beginning.
GENERAL LOCATION:
A parcel of land located at 4800 N. Campbell St., in Center Township, Porter
County, Indiana.
Written
suggestions to said proposed zoning amendment may be filed with the
Executive Director of the Porter County Plan Commission before such public
hearing and/or verbal statements relating thereto will be heard at the
above-designated time and place. A copy of the file is available for public
view at the Plan Commission office.
