VARIANCE
Notice is hereby given that the
Board of Zoning Appeals of the County of Porter, Indiana, will hold a public
hearing on the 16th of March, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. in the Porter County
Administration Center, 155 Indiana Avenue, Suite 205, Valparaiso, Indiana,
to consider the petition of Christopher & Michelle Wirsing, 2156 Ransom
Road., Valparaiso, is seeking a Development Standard Variance from the
Unified Development Ordinance; Sections 2.12 RR District Development
Standards, Width-to-Depth Ratio, Minimum Lot Width, 10.33 Subdivision
Control: Primary Plat & 10.34 Subdivision Control: Secondary Plat, to
subdivide property into two (2) parcels, to be located on the following
described parcel of land:
Parcel 1: Part of the Southwest
1/4 of Section 2, Township 35 North, Range 6 West of the Second Principal
Meridian, described as follows: Commencing at a point on the East line of
said Southwest 1/4 which is 760.00 feet North of the Southeast corner of
said Southwest 1/4; thence West at 90 degrees to said East line, 420.0 feet;
thence North 110.0 feet; thence East 420.0 feet to said East line; thence
South along said East line 110.0 feet to the point of commencement.
Parcel 2: Part of the Southwest
1/4 of Section 2, Township 35 North, Range 6 West of the Second Principal
Meridian, described as follows: Commencing at a point on the East line of
said Southwest 1/4 which is 463.0 feet North of the Southeast corner of said
Southwest 1/4; thence West at 90 degrees to said East line, 420.0 feet;
thence North 297.0 feet; thence East 420.0 feet to said East line; thence
South along said East line, 297.0 feet to the point of commencement.
Parcel 3: A Parcel of land in the
Southwest 1/4 of Section 2, Township 35 North, Range 6 West of the Second
Principal Meridian in Center Township, Porter County, Indiana, described as
follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Southwest 1/4; thence
North along the East line of said Southwest 1/4, 870.0 feet; thence West at
90 degrees to said West line, 420.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence
South, parallel to said East line, 325.0 feet; thence West, parallel to the
South line of said Southwest 1/4, 900.8 feet, more or less to the West line
of the East 1/2 of said Southwest 1/4; thence North along said West line,
322.3 feet, more or less; thence East, at 90 degrees to said East line,
900.3 feet more or less, to the point of beginning.
Subject to roads, easements and
restrictions or records. 1992 taxes payable in 1993, and 1993 taxes payable
in 1994.
GENERAL LOCATION: A parcel of
land located at 4409 Goodrich Road, in Center Township, Porter County,
Indiana.
Written suggestions to said
proposed Use Variance may be filed with the Executive Director of the Porter
County Plan Commission before such public hearing and/or verbal statements
relating thereto will be heard at the above-designated time and place. A
copy of the file is available for public view at the Plan Commission Office.
