NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PROPOSED VARIANCE

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Zoning Appeals of the County of Porter, Indiana, will hold a public hearing on the 3rd of March, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. in the Porter County Administration Center, 155 Indiana Avenue, Suite 205, Valparaiso, Indiana, to consider the petition of Porter Hospital, LLC, 4000 Meridian Boulevard, Franklin, Tennessee 37067 c/o William A. Ferngren, Ferngren Law Offices, LLC seeking a Variance from;

1. 7.25 PN-03: Pedestrian Network Standards; Commercial and Industrial: (C) Minimum External Pedestrian Network Standards, waive the requirement to install an external pedestrian network along State Road 49 Bypass and along U.S. Highway 6; provided, however the connection on US Highway 6 shall be required to be installed when development proposals are provided by others to the west or trail development on State Road 49 Bypass.

GENERAL LOCATION: A parcel of land located at the Northwest corner of U.S. Hwy 6 and the SR 49 Bypass in Liberty Township, Porter County, Indiana.

Written suggestions to said proposed zoning amendment may be filed with the Executive Director of the Porter County Plan Commission before such public hearing and/or verbal statements relating thereto will be heard at the above-designated time and place.
