NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PROPOSED ZONING AMENDMENT

Notice is hereby given that the Plan Commission of the County of Porter, Indiana will hold a public hearing on the 10th day of March, 2010 at 6:30 p.m., in the Porter County Administration Center, 155 Indiana Avenue, Suite 205, Valparaiso, Indiana to consider the petition of Charles C. Coker, N. 4807 449th Street, Menomonie, Wisconsin for a proposed amendment to the Unified Development Ordinance to rezone a parcel of land from I-1, Light Industrial District to A-1, General Agriculture to be located on the following described parcel:

That part of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 10, Township 36 North, Range 6 West of the Second Principal Meridian in Porter County, Indiana, which lies South of the right of way of the Wabash Railway Company, Excepting therefrom the West 153.05 feet.

GENERAL LOCATION: A parcel of land located at the Northwest corner of CR 1050 N. and CR 125 W. in Liberty Township, Porter County, Indiana.

Written suggestions to said proposed zoning amendment may be filed with the Executive Director of the Porter County Plan Commission before such public hearing and/or verbal statements relating thereto may be heard at the above designated time and place. A copy of the file is available for public view at the Plan Commission office.
