NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING
PROPOSED VARIANCE
Notice is hereby
given that the board of Zoning Appeals of the County of Porter, Indiana,
will hold a public hearing on the 19th of January, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. in the
Porter County Administration Center, 155 Indiana Avenue, Suite 205,
Valparaiso, Indiana, to consider the petition of David & Naomi Dobrowski,
361 S. SR 2, Hebron, Indiana.
Petitioner seeks
Variances from the Unified Development Ordinance: Section 5.06 AS-03
Accessory Structure; Residential, (B) (b) Maximum Floor Area, in RR - Rural
Residential District, to increase the accumulative square footage of all
accessory structures by 1,763 square feet, and Section 2.12 RR District
Development Standards; Maximum Structure Height; Accessory Structure, to
exceed the Maximum Structure height of an accessory structure from 20 feet
to 27 feet, to be located on the following described property:
A parcel of land
in the Center one-third of the Northwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 34
North, Range 7 West of the Second Principle Meridian, Porter County, Indiana
described as follows: Commencing at a point on the South line of said
Northwest Quarter which is 1136.79 feet East of the Southwest corner of said
Northwest Quarter; thence continuing along said South line; thence North 00
degrees 30 minutes 04 seconds East parallel to the West line of said center
one-third, 598.37 feet; thence South 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West,
193.79 feet; thence South 00 degrees 30 minutes 04 seconds West, 598.37 feet
to the Point of Commencement.
GENERAL LOCATION:
A parcel of land located at 361 S. SR 2, in Porter Township, Porter County,
Indiana.
Written
suggestions to said proposed zoning amendment may be filed with the
Executive Director of the Porter County Plan Commission before such public
hearing and/or verbal statements relating thereto will be heard at the above
designated time and place. A copy of the file is available for public view
at the Plan Commission office.
