REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The Indian Boundary Conservancy District (IBCD) is requesting proposals from qualified sewer cleaning and inspection firms for the cleaning and inspection of its gravity sewer system located near Chesterton, Indiana.

The work shall be done in accordance with the specifications developed by the IBCD. The IBCD’s Instructions to Bidders, Specifications, Form of Contract and General Conditions, all combined are to be known as the Proposal Package. All affidavits accompanying the Proposal Package must be correctly completed and submitted with the contractor’s proposal to make same responsive. Proposals submitted on forms other than those approved by the IBCD or submitted in an incomplete fashion may be found non-responsive.

Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope clearly marked:

PROPOSALS FOR SEWER CLEANING AND INSPECTION

and shall be received at the address shown below no later then 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2010, alternately, proposals may be hand delivered to the IBCD public Board Meeting scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on December 14, 2010 at the Brummitt School located on Indian Boundary Road in West Chester Township, Porter County, Indiana. Proposals received after the above stated time and date will be returned to the sender unopened.
