ORDINANCE NO. 2010-18

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CHESTERTON TOWN COUNCIL AMENDING THE

CHESTERTON TOWN CODE

BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the Chesterton Town Council as follows:

SECTION 1: That the effective date of Ordinance 2010-09 shall now be April 1, 2011.

SECTION 2: The following sentence shall be added to the end of Section 25-86 (B) of the Chesterton Town Code:

“If after seven (7) days from written notification to the property owner that a billing remains unpaid, the water service will be requested to be discontinued to the subject property.”

SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication as required by law.

ALL OF WHICH IS PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Chesterton Town Council, Porter County, Indiana, this 20th day of December, 2010.
