NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF REDUCTION OF APPROPRIATIONS

Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Jackson Township, Porter County, Indiana, that the proper legal officers, at their regular meeting place at 318 E 1050 N, Chesterton, Indiana, on the 12th day of November, 2010 at 4:30 p.m.; will consider the following reduction of appropriations for the current year.

Fire Fund: $200,000

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard. The reduction of appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department. The Department will make a written determination as to the reduction of appropriated funds within (fifteen) 15 days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
