NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF

ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Center Township, Porter County, Indiana, that the proper legal officers of Center Township will, at their regular meeting place at the offices of the Center Township Trustee located at 100 East Lincolnway, Suite 204, Valparaiso, Indiana at 2:00 p.m. on the 20th day of October, 2010, will meet to consider the following additional appropriation from the Cumulative Fire Fighting Fund in excess of the budget for the current year:

Purchase of Seagrave Pumper

Fire Vehicle $350,000.00

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting will have a right to be heard. The additional appropriation as finally made will be referred to the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance. That agency will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriation made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a certified copy of the action taken.
