LEGAL NOTICE

The Board of Directors of the Indian Boundary Conservancy District is inviting potential candidates for membership on the Board of Directors of the conservancy district to file nominating petitions pursuant to I.C. 14-33-5-3. Two directorship positions will be voted upon at the 2011 annual meeting of the Indian Boundary Conservancy District. One of the directorship positions to be voted upon serves the Graham Woods and the First and Second Additions to Graham Woods Area and is currently held by Incumbent Board Member George Clem. The other directorship area serves the Wake Robin Fields and East Wake Robin Areas and is currently held by Incumbent Board Member Ramon Sanchez. Both directorship positions will be elected to a full four year term on the Board of Directors.

All candidates for the both positions on the Board of Directors of the Indian Boundary Conservancy District must be freeholders within the boundaries of the Graham Woods and First and Second Addition to Graham Woods and/or the Wake Robin Fields and East Wake Robin directorship area and must also qualified by knowledge and experience in matters pertaining to the development of the conservancy district. A candidate may also be a nominee of a corporate freeholder.

Anyone interested in seeking the positions must file a nominating petition signed by at least five (5) freeholders from the Graham Woods and First and Second Addition to Graham Woods and Wake Robin Fields and East Wake Robin directorship areas. The nominating petitions must be filed by mailing the petitions to the conservancy district address at P.O. Box 561, Chesterton, Indiana 46304. All nominating petitions must be received at the conservancy district mailing address prior to December 1, 2010 or be postmarked (private postage meter postmarks will not be accepted) before December 1, 2010 and have sufficient United States Postage and be addressed to the district's mailing address.
