Correction Date of one Tallian town hall left out March 9

A story on the front page of the Friday, Feb. 15 edition of the Chesterton Tribune, titled, “Sen. Tallian in Duneland twice for town hall series” left out the date of the Beverly Shores town hall event.

Senator Karen Tallian’s (D-Ogden Dunes) town hall series concludes in Beverly Shores on Saturday, March 9 at 12 p.m. at the Beverly Shores Town Hall, 500 Broadway.

The Tribune regrets the omission.

Corrected:

State Senator Karen Tallian, D-Ogden Dunes, will visit Duneland twice in a series of Town hall discussions in February and March.

Tallian encourages residents to come primed to discuss issues related to recent legislation she has proposed and important issues, especially those regarding Lake Michigan beach access, teacher pay, cannabis, and the state budget.

Attend Tallian’s discussion at the Chesterton Town Hall, 726 Broadway, on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 12 p.m. The series ends in Beverly Shores at the Town Hall, 500 Broadway, March 9 at 12 p.m.

If Dunelanders can’t make it on those dates, Tallian will also visit Portage and Michigan City tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 16. The Portage event is in Oakwood Hall, 2100 Willowcreek Road, at 9 a.m. The Michigan City event is at the Michigan City Public Library, 100 E. 4th Street, at 12 p.m.
