INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Hoosiers can swaps stories about Indiana on a new website built to bring current and former residents together for the state's upcoming bicentennial.

The Indiana Bicentennial Commission has launched the site to get residents talking about the perks of living in the state. The commission is organizing celebrations for Indiana's 200th anniversary of statehood in 2016.

Gov. Mike Pence says some of his favorite places in Indiana include Zaharakos Ice Cream Parlor in Columbus and the Indiana State Fairgrounds Coliseum, where he went on his first date with his wife, Karen.

Prompts include "What does it mean to you to be a Hoosier?" and "What makes you proud about Indiana?" Selected stories will be published on the commission's website at indiana2016.org.
