INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Two men have been arrested and face preliminary charges of murder in the death of a 32-year-old Indiana National Guard veteran.

Friends of James Vester of Lizton, 25 miles northwest of Indianapolis, told WISH-TV and WTHR-TV he was shot trying to buy an iPad from a listing he found on Craigslist. Police say he was shot Wednesday at an apartment complex on the west side of Indianapolis.

Police on Friday arrested two brothers, 19-year-old Tryon Kincade and 18-year-old Tyshaune Kincade and charged them preliminarily with murder and robbery. The Marion County prosecutor's office will review the case and make a final decision on charges.

Police have asked for the men to be held for 72 hours. Court records weren't available Friday to show whether the Kincades had hired attorneys.
