Signs of spring:
Signs of spring are popping up all
over, among them the delicate Snowdrops. These tiny flowers are among the
first to bloom. Just inches high, they sport a bright white, six tepal
flower, which hangs like a bell from the stem. Look closely, often where
there’s is one there are many. They prefer a spot beneath deciduous trees
where bright spring light gives way to shade later in the season. After a
taste of spring Monday, temperatures dropped from the low 60s to the very
low 30s, as wind gusts whipped through Duneland overnight. The National
