In person early voting begins tomorrow

Porter County residents can vote early in-person at any of five locations across the County or catch the Porter County Vote Mobile on evenings or weekends.

Early voting begins tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 6 and ends at noon on Monday, Nov. 2. Voting will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and two Saturdays (Oct. 24 and 31). Hours will be extended from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The five early voting locations are as follows:

-Chesterton Town Hall, 726 Broadway, Chesterton

-Union Township Fire Station No.2, 267 N. 600 W, Valparaiso

-Porter County Administration Center, 155 Indiana Avenue, suite 102A, Valparaiso

-Hebron Community Center, 611 N. Main Street, Hebron

-North County Annex, 3560 Willowcreek Road, Portage

The Porter County Vote Mobile, a converted Ford Starcraft 8+2 van travels to locations not already served by an early voting site. The Vote Mobile is ADA-accessible and manned by a bipartisan team. The following is the schedule for Porter County mobile voting:

-Wednesday, Oct. 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Jamestown Apartments, 2817 Virginia Park Ave., Valparaiso

-Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Oak Tree Village, 254 Sandalwood St., Portage

-Wednesday, Oct. 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Kouts Public Library, 101 E. Daumer Rd., Kouts

-Saturday, Oct. 24 From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Haven Hollow Park, 330 W 700 North, South Haven

-Friday, Oct. 30 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Luke Oil Gas Station, 298 Melton Rd., Burns Harbor
