The Indiana
Republican Party, at the first meeting of its newly re-organized State
Committee this week, elected three new state officers.
Newly elected:
Chuck Williams of Valparaiso, Treasurer; Leah McGrath of Fishers, Vice-
Chair; and State Rep. Holli Sullivan of Evansville, Secretary.
“Leah, Holli and
Chuck, who come from diverse geographies and professional backgrounds,
represent a new generation of Republican leadership in our state,” State GOP
Chair Kyle Hupfer said. “I know their unparalleled passion for growing our
party and bettering our State will help take the Indiana Republican Party to
new heights in the coming years.”
The new officers
replace former vice-chair Misty Hollis, who now serves as the 6th District
Chair on State Committee; former secretary Barb McClellan, who retired after
50 years of service to the Indiana Republican Party; and former treasurer
and former State Rep. Dan Dumezich.
Williams is
professionally involved with real estate consulting, development, and
management, and is the principal of Pavilion Partners LLC, which is
developing a restaurant at the Dunes State Park Pavilion and a banquet
center at the beach.
He has been
involved with the Republican Party at many levels from precinct committeeman
to Porter County chair and has served on the State Committee as 1st District
chair from 2011-17.
McGrath was
appointed Deputy Mayor of Fishers in 2015.
Sullivan has
represented the House 78th District--including portions of Vanderburgh and
Warrick counties--since 2014.
