The annual Westchester Clothing Exchange will be held on Friday, August 16
at the Westchester Public Library Service Center.
Donations will be accepted from 6 a.m. to Noon on that day. The doors will
open to the public from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The clothing exchange is for all ages and sizes.
The Library Service Center is at 100 W. Indiana Ave., Chesterton.
The Westchester Clothing Exchange is an opportunity to obtain good, usable
clothing free of charge.
Area families are encouraged to donate clothing in all sizes and in good to
excellent, even unused condition, to the Exchange. Infant to adult clothing
will be welcome.
Children’s books and school supplies are also most welcome, and may be
dropped off at the Library Service Center on the day of the exchange from
6:00 a.m. to Noon.
All items should be clean and in good condition.
People interested in obtaining clothing may select items from 3:00 to 6:00
Volunteers to work at the Clothing Exchange are needed.
This event is sponsored by the Westchester Township Trustee’s Office in
cooperation with the Duneland Resale Shop, the Westchester Public Library
and the Westchester Neighbors’ Food Pantry.
