Rebuilding Together Duneland seeks volunteers and donations

This yearís National Rebuilding Work Day is fast approaching and the local Rebuilding Together – Duneland (RTD) is on track for its most ambitious year ever. This year 14 homes and 4 community projects are planned.

Volunteers and donations to support this important work are still very much needed and there is limited time left to sign up to help improve the Duneland community.

The deadline for volunteers to register is April 10, 2015.

Volunteers, both skilled and unskilled, can sign up online at www.rtduneland.org.

Volunteers can specify if they wish to work with family, friends, or one of the organizations listed for priority assignment together. Be a part of a team!

Donations can be made by mailing a check to Rebuilding Together- Duneland, P.O. Box 644, Chesterton, IN 46304 or via PayPal selecting the donations tab at www.rtduneland.org. Material donations are also welcome.

Rebuilding Together- Duneland is the local affiliate of the nationís largest nonprofit volunteer organization Rebuilding Together, based in Washington, D.C.

The mission is to improve the quality of life of people in the Duneland School District who are physically and/or financially struggling through the rehabilitation of their homes.

Since 1997, RTD has reinvested donations totaling over $1.17 million into helping 194 households and dozens of community projects across the Duneland area.
