Rebuilding Together Duneland is now accepting sponsorships for its annual
signature event, National Rebuilding Day, which this year will be on April
24.
On National
Rebuilding Day, tens of thousands of volunteers across the country will team
up with Rebuilding Together’s affiliates to repair homes, revitalize
communities and restore the lives of homeowners in need.
Rebuilding
Together Duneland is now seeking individual donations and corporate sponsors
to help fund this year’s work day.
“We focus on the
issues of homeownership, the elderly, disabled, and families with children,
healthcare and the rising federal deficit. By identifying the challenges
associated with these issues, we are well placed to face a homeowner problem
with full understanding and create real, sustainable solutions for the
homeowners we serve,” said RTD President Dawn Mount.
The sponsorship
levels are as follows: Community Builder, $5,000 and up; House Sponsor,
$2,000-$4,999; House Co-Sponsor, $1,000-$1,999; and Partner, $500-$999. Each
level provides publicity for a company or organization. Individual donations
are also welcome.
This year, eight
to 10 homes and two to three community projects are scheduled for
improvements.
To help in the
endeavor, make checks payable to Rebuilding Together Duneland. Checks may be
sent to P.O. Box 644, Chesterton, IN 46304 or donate through PayPal on the
website www.rtduneland.org
All
donations are fully tax deductible. For information regarding house
sponsorships, contact Keith Davison at 219-617-0034.
