Opportunity Enterprises CEO resigns; board names interim chief

Opportunity Enterprises’ Board of Directors announced this morning the appointment of Ellen DeMartinis to the position of Interim CEO for the agency, after resignation of David Stupay effective Friday, August 15.

Stupay had been named President and CEO of the non-profit organization in August 2013.

According to an issued statement from the board, DeMartinis has been with OE for 20 years, and has served the agency in several capacities, including Director of Human Resources, Chief Operating Officer, and Vice President.

“We greatly value the accomplishments David made during his time at OE,” says OE Board of Directors Chairperson Kevin Steele, “He led OE through a robust strategic planning process and leaves the agency with ambitious goals that will serve our program participants and invest in our staff. The Board and staff at OE wish David all the best.”
