Back To Front Page

On Monday, August 12th the Duneland Family YMCA will host its 2013 Annual Golf Outing at The Course at Aberdeen in Valparaiso.

Each year the Duneland Family YMCA hosts their Annual Golf Outing to raise funds for the Financial Assistance Program. The Duneland Family YMCA believes that its programs and services should be available to everyone-regardless of age, background, ability or income. This Financial Assistance Program guarantees no one will be turned away due to their inability to pay.

At the Y, financial assistance is given to those who need assistance with program or membership fees. With a mission to put Christian Principles into practice through programs that build a healthy mind, body, and spirit for all it is important that the Y’s programs and services are available to everyone.

Kristin Jackson, Golf Outing Chairman shared, “With so many demands on today’s families and the increased focus on early childhood development, families need all the support they can get to nurture the potential of youth. All kids have great potential. At the Y, a leading nonprofit, strengthening community through youth development, we work every day to help them set and achieve personal and educational goals. This is why your donation and support is so important! It allows us to interview and give more child care scholarships to families and children in need. This is our community, please join us for a fun afternoon and swing a club with friends for a great cause!”

If you or your organization would like to support this cause driven organization and community please register individually or with a foursome. The cost is $150 per person and includes golf, lunch, 1 drink ticket, and heavy hors d’ oeuvres.

Pre-registration is recommend. Please register with the Y by calling (219) 926 4204 or visiting the Member Service Desk.

The Duneland Y is located at 215 Roosevelt Street in Chesterton. For more information or directions please visit www.DunelandYMCA.org
