The Duneland community is active in 4-H Clubs and has several local clubs available to children. The 4-H organization offers nearly 100 projects for students ages K-12 to participate in and exhibit at the Porter County Fair. Clubs also offer other fun activities throughout the year.

Local clubs meet as follows:

Jackson Volunteers - Club meets first Thursday of each month from 6:30-8 p.m. at Jackson School. The next meeting is December 5. Call Leader Phyllis Habib at 531-1001.

Liberty Hotshots - Club meets first Thursday of each month from 6-7:15 p.m. at Liberty Intermediate School. Next meeting on December 5. Call Leader Brenda Wallace at 926-7127.

Lakeshore Drifters - Club meets second Monday of each month from 6:30-8 p.m. at Brummitt Elementary Cafeteria. Next meeting on February 10. Call Leader Joyce Thomas at 929-5363.

Westchester Wombears meets the first Wednesday of the month at the Library Service Center. Call Leader Grace Carmichael at 395-8128.
