MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. (AP) — A company that makes air compressors and other
air tools says it will expand its headquarters in northern Indiana and
expects to add some 100 jobs in the next few years.
United Technologies subsidiary Sullair Corp. announced Tuesday it would
spend up to $12.7 million on new equipment and energy efficiency upgrades at
its 410,000 square-foot facility in Michigan City.
Sullair president Henry Brooks says the company expects to see increasing
demand as the economy rebounds around the world.
The company has manufacturing facilities in China, Australia and the United
States, making equipment for the mining, construction, industrial,
manufacturing and energy industries.
