Porter Health System CEO Jonathan Nalli has announced the appointment of
Brian Sinotte as the hospital’s new chief operating officer.
As COO, Sinotte will assume responsibility for the Laboratory, Neurology,
Radiology, Oncology, Engineering, Food & Nutrition and Environmental
Services departments. He is also charged with overseeing a new outpatient
oncology project, and will be actively involved in the completion and
transition to the new hospital facility.
“Brian is a proven leader who will be an excellent asset for Porter,” said
Nalli in making the announcement. “As a Fellow in the American College of
Healthcare Executives, he brings sound experience and education to the
position.”
Sinotte comes to Porter from John Randolph Medical Center in Hopewell,
Virginia, where he most recently was the center’s COO and Ethics and
Compliance Officer.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management,
Sinotte holds a Master of Healthcare Administration degree as well as a
Master of Business Administration degree. Throughout his tenure in the
healthcare industry, he has held numerous administrative positions and has
been responsible for the operations and strategic direction of facilities in
several highly competitive markets.
“To say this is an exciting time to be joining Porter would be an
understatement,” Sinotte said. “There is an incredible momentum here that
can only come from that rare mix of visionary leadership, community support,
and associates at every level who truly love what they do. I’m honored to be
a part of that movement and give back to a community that has already been
so welcoming to me.”
