Horizon Bank announces the promotion of Mike Ondrovich of New Carlisle, Ind., as vice-president, secondary market manager.

Ondrovich will be responsible for managing and directing Wall Street mortgage investor relationships. He also monitors and directs mortgage interest rates for the retail production channel and manages overall interest rate risk for all mortgage loans.

Ondrovich has 11 years experience in the mortgage industry where he previously managed interest rate risk and fixed assets. He has also managed mortgage portfolios for other financial institutions.

Ondrovich earned his bachelor’s in accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is involved with the National Eagle Scout Association, New Carlisle Wesleyan Church and National Association for Search and Rescue (NASAR).

Horizon Bancorp is a locally owned, independent, commercial bank holding company serving Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan.
